These are Processional heads of Bull (Nandi) of a Festival called Oachira Kalakettu from Kerala India.
In Kerala South India, It is considered to be auspicious to display them at homes and offices.
Handmade from one piece of wood without joints and also hand painted with Ethnic motifs from this region. However the ears are made separate so that it is detachable for packing and shipping purposes.
Each piece made is unique and Not another made is ever the same!
All pieces come with hook at the back for wall hanging purposes.
These smaller heads are Inspired by the renowned Oachira Cattle Festival in Kerala, these ceremonial sculptures are traditionally used on the front of hundreds of chariots paraded around the temple during the festival.
